NCPC BOSS TASKS STAFF ON RESPONSIBILITY TAKING

The Executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev Tor Uja has called on Management and staff of the Commission to take responsibility of the commission. He gave this charge in Abuja during his maiden meeting with staff since assumption of duty as the Executive Secretary. His words: “I want you to take responsibility of NCPC like an image maker”.

Rev Uja charged the staff to seek to please the Lord in all they do in order to move the Commission forward.

He advised them to embrace truth because as Christians, truth cannot be negotiated. According to him, “I will like to mould us all into an army of truth” he stressed that every good Christian should be baptized in truth.

Rev Uja further affirmed that the Commission was the greatest tool of outreach to the Church and that pilgrimage should present Nigeria very well to the outside world.

The NCPC boss explained that the spiritual content of pilgrimage had increased and the organization level of pilgrimage had also been elevated.

He maintained that pilgrimage should glorify Jesus Christ.

The NCPC helmsman commended his predecessor for the good work he did in NCPC. He urged the staff to look ahead for better things to come.

He informed of his readiness to organize a family night for the staff and their families because he believes in upholding family values. He explained that such forum will enable him to interact with the staff and families personally.

Re Uja also hinted that the Commission would organize a befitting send forth for his predecessor to appreciate him for his contribution to the growth of pilgrimage in Nigeria.

He promised to partner with the church and corporate bodies to support the cause of pilgrimage

The maiden meeting afforded staff the opportunity of interacting with the Executive Secretary.
