THE RESURRECTION POWER OF JESUS CHRIST WILL RESTORE PEACE IN NIGERIA AND THE WORLD - NCPC BOSS

 Abuja, Nigeria - April 4, 2026

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, has released a powerful Easter message, proclaiming that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ will bring peace to Nigeria and the world.

In his message, Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that Christ's resurrection power will overcome the forces of evil and bring lasting peace to troubled nations. He emphasised that Christ's sacrifice on the cross has restored humanity's dignity and urged Christians to emulate his selfless life.

"Let us shun moral arrogance, pride, and sin, and live lives worthy of emulation," he said. "Life is a journey, not a destination, and we will give account of our deeds to God."

Bishop Adegbite condoled with families affected by the Palm Sunday killings in Jos, affirming that Christ's resurrection power will restore peace in the Plateau. He urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his government, and to be law-abiding as the 2027 general elections approach.

"Christ has risen! Let us embrace one another, irrespective of our religious beliefs," he said.
