THE Nigerian Ambassador to Greece, His Excellency Ayodeji Ayodele has called on all Nigerians to continually pray for the peace of our dear nation. The Ambassador made this call in Athens, Greece when he hosted the leadership of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC and members of the Conference of States, comprising the Chairmen and Secretaries of the State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Boards to a dinner in his official residence .

The Ambassador said he was particularly happy that the NCPC Team were in Greece and there was need to pray for Nigeria in order to overcome its present security challenges.In the words of His Excellency,"we the followers we have the responsibility to pray for our leaders", adding that the situation of the country needed divine intervention.
 
Ambassador Ayodele further stated that those who were close to power that God should give them the courage to speak the truth at all times by so doing the country would be better for it.
 
Earlier, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, mr John Kennedy Opara described the Ambassador as an exemplary leader who had shown himself as a leader that the country is proud of.
 
The NCPC Boss therefore assured His Excellency that " in your time the relationship between Nigeria and Greece will continue to grow from strenght to strenght".
 
He further told the Ambassador that the delegation from NCPC were able to see the sights that would be used for this year's pilgrimage and were satisfied. Among the sights visited were the ancient Antioch and Corithn where Saint Paul had his missionary journey.
