NASARAWA STATE CAN CHAIRMAN VISITS NCPC BOSS

The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Dr. Joseph Masin has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Tor Uja in his office in Abuja.

While receiving the Nasarawa State CAN Chairman, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Tor Uja affirmed that Nigeria is going through a lot of challenges and urged Church Leaders in Nigeria to rise up and fight these challenges through prayers. According to him, “I will like the Church in Nigeria to rise up to these challenges and reposition this country. He added “I trust God for the healing of our economy and the healing of all the crisis we face in different areas”.

He informed that the Commission is working to reduce the cost of pilgrimage in order to afford Christians who desire to go on Pilgrimage the opportunity to do so.

He further informed that the Commission is also trying to add more value to its pilgrimage so that everyone who goes to the Holy Land would not only be spiritually rejuvenated but would also gain knowledge and exposure in the area of agriculture and some other infrastructure in the State of Israel.

The NCPC helmsman urged Church Leaders to give attention to the Youths and create an environment where Churches can sponsor Youths on Pilgrimage to expose them to the Commission’s Agricultural skill acquisition that would help them contribute to the development programme of the country.

Earlier, the Chairman of Nasarawa State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Dr. Joseph Masin, congratulated the NCPC boss on his new appointment. In his words, “we have come to rejoice with you and to thank God for your appointment”. He prayed for God’s knowledge, understanding and direction in his new office.
