In a bid to encourage self sponsorship of pilgrims, the Sensitization Team of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), paid a thank you and sensitization visit to the Chairman / CEO of Kotec industrial Company Ltd, Nnewi Chief Chika Emenike in Abuja.
The Executive Secretary of NCPC, Mr. John Kennedy Opara who was represented by the Head of Sensitization and Enlightenment Dept of the Commission, Mr. Christian Udegbunam stated that “it gladdens his heart that young people are investing in the things of God”. He added that the Holy Bible had commanded that “we should seek the Kingdom of God first and its righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you”
He admonished the business mogul not to be weary in doing good as the Good Lord would continue to bless him.
The representatives of the NCPC boss also presented a souvenir to Chief Chika Emenike on behalf of the Commission.
In his remarks, the Chairman/ CEO of Kotec Industrial Company Ltd, manufactures of Tummy-Tummy Instant Noodles Ltd, thanked God for using NCPC to reach out to Christians by using Pilgrimage as a tool for Moral and Spiritual transformation. According to him, “it is not easy for people to make time for God”.
Chief Emenike further affirmed that “God rewards those who diligently seek Him”, adding that “what we are working for is to make heaven at the end of our sojourn on earth”. He commended NCPC for the relentless prayers being offered for the peace of Nigeria, saying that “with God we shall overcome the challenges facing the country”.
Chief Chika Emenike sponsored a reasonable number of Christian pilgrims to Israel last year, he promised to sponsor more this year.
The founder of Sweet Home Foundation, Rev. Ifeanyichukwu Epunam was also at the sensitization and thank you visit. He presented a sponsorship certificate to Chief Chika Emenike in order to spur him to do more.
