NCPC BOSS REV. PAM CONDOLES WITH DOKPESI'S FAMILY, DESCRIBES HIM AS A UNIFYING FACTOR FOR THIS COUNTRY.

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late media mogul, the Chairman Emeritus of the DAAR Communications Plc, Engr. Raymond Dokpesi at their Asokoro residence, on 1st June, 2023. Rev Pam described the late Raymond Dokpesi who died on 29th May, 2023 as a "unifying factor for this country".

He further described him as a very good politician who had helped in building the economy of Nigeria, Contributed in employment generation for our youth and was able to introduce African content and cultural background in Television broadcasting in Africa.

The Executive Secretary who was received by the wife of the Late Chairman Emeritus of DAAR Communications Plc, Mrs. Tosin Dokpesi, said the late Raymond Dokpesi left at a time this country needed him most.

According to him, "God knows why we have no answer to certain things". He added, "We should be rest assured that we will miss him because of his wealth of experience".

The NCPC boss further affirmed that with the caliber of family that 
Raymond Dokpesi left behind, they would certainly be able to drive his dreams and aspirations and above all, ensure the continuity of his legacies.

The NCPC helmsman used the platform provided by the condolence visit to thank the entire DAAR Communications team for always showcasing and projecting the laudable activities of the Commission through the African Independent Television, AIT.

He explained that the Commission had a robust relationship with AIT over the years which would continue to be sustained.
He further affirmed that AIT has greatly help to boost the image of the Commission especially in the coverage of our pilgrimage activities within and during our Pilgrimage Programmes outside the country. 

Responding, Mr. Raji Dokpesi one of the sons of the late media mogul who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked the NCPC boss for the condolence visit and assured that they would build on the legacy of his late father and ensure sustainability.
