NCPC BOSS RECEIVES AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) presented an award of Excellence to the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) presented an award of Excellence to the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mr. John Kennedy Opara recently in his Office in Abuja.

The award titled “Honourary award as the shining light of the Nigerian Students” was presented by Comrade John Shima, the Senate President of the NANS who presented the award on behalf of the group and recounted the achievements of Mr. Opara include the only one who represented the African Youth to visit Pope John Paul II in 1997.

The NAN President assured the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission of their support at all times. His worsds “We are also willing to represent you anywhere in the world”

Mr. Opara in his response thanked the National Association of Nigerian Students, urging them to be good Ambassadors of Nigerian and the nations at large. He further encouraged them to stand firm and work in unity irrespective of their religion or tribe.

The Executive Secretary assured them of his unflinching support and said “I will do everything humanly possible not to let you down”. He urged them to pray for the Commission’s success.
