Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mr. John Kennedy Opara, has tasked intending family pilgrims to Israel on good conduct while in the Holy Land. He disclosed this on Monday, 10th August, at the Domestic Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, while addressing the intending family pilgrims to Israel.
Mr Opara affirmed that they would be the ambassadors of Nigeria in the Holy Land hence the need for them to be of good conduct.
He assured them that the Commission had put every logistics in place in Israel to ensure they have a hitch free pilgrimage exercise.
The No 1 Christian Pilgrim Officer of the Federation also tasked them to pray for Mr. President, the country and themselves while in the Holy Land. He stressed that families who pray together, stay together.
The NCPC boss further assured them that the Commission’s officials were in Israel, as well as the officials of the Embassy of Nigeria in Israel to facilitate and provide the needed services and assistance to them.
The beauty of the family pilgrimage is that it accommodates families, both young and old and gives them the opportunity to pray together in the Holy Land and it is fully self sponsored.
Families numbering hundreds with kids were seen at the airport eager to go on Holy pilgrimage.
