EXECUTIVE MEMBERS OF MANI VISIT NCPC BOSS

Movement for African National Initiatives (MANI) recently visited the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Tor Uja in his office in Abuja.

While receiving members of (MANI), the Executive Secretary stated that the Commission’s mandate empowers it to handle pilgrimages for the Christian Community.

He stated with dismay that there were a lot of ministries coming up but with few missions. He stressed the need for the leadership of Christian Community to play active role for people going on pilgrimage.

He admonished them to offer themselves for service. His words: “we conscientiously labour to raise young people who can go to missions in the nations”. He prayed that God would raise young people who would be able to stay years outside this country for mission work.

Rev. Uja hinted that NCPC would continue with the annual one Day with Jesus for Nigerians in Israel. He explained that pilgrimage should be able to cater for the needs of Nigerian Christians and the needs of the host countries.

He affirmed that the Church is capable of sponsoring young people on pilgrimage. According to him: “God will move Nigerian Church to a greater level of development”.

Earlier, the Leader of the delegation Rev. Godwin Tsee stated that the vision of MANI is mission mandate. He explained that MANI would make themselves available to help in promoting NCPC and advance the cause of pilgrimage in Nigeria.

He stressed that the entire MANI were looking forward to greater level of cooperation with the Commission.

 In the congratulatory card presented to the NCPC boss which reads and signed by all the Executive Members, “May God grant you the wisdom, Knowledge, foresights protection, strength with His grace to advance the operations and deepen the impact of NCPC”.
